Arrow Cresting on the Wood Lathe

I decided to try cresting some arrow with the old walker turner wood lathe. It worked pretty well. I’m still just using some paint I had around and a few brushes, so far from optimal, but it works well enough for my stump busters for now.

If you do not have a lathe that can perform this, you can still use the earlier process I posted.  I still use both processes but I think I like the lathe process a little better. It’s just another option.

I start with a clear coat Rust-Oleum Spray Lacquer. It helps creating smoother lines.
